Description
This circa 1930 Sarouk Persian handmade wool Oriental Rug measures 8’8” X 11’8”. It has an overall floral motif with an integrated center medallion. The flowers are done in rose, two shades of blue, minimal amounts of green and ivory all on a dark rose red ground. It has a major border consisting of flowers and flowing vines in the same colors on a dark blue ground. There are two reciprocal borders in a meandering flower and vine design. One on a dark red ground and one on a terra cotta ground. There are two other reciprocal borders in a leaf and flower motif. One on an ivory ground and the other on a medium blue ground. This rug is essentially in perfect condition. The ends and sides are complete. It is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping which includes insurance of $150.00.
