This circa 1940 Vintage Mongolian handmade wool Oriental Rug measures 5’6” X 7’2”. It is blue on blue with touches of white. It has a center medallion of light blue with white surrounded by eight sprays of flowers in ivory and three shades of blue. The corners are light and dark blue fretwork on a dark blue field. The inner minor border is the pearl motif in blue and white. The next border out is Greek key design. The major border has various Buddhist icons such as the knot, the scroll, the book etc. It is essentially mint condition. It has full pile. The ends and sides are complete. It is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping with insurance of $75.00.
