This circa 1925 Art Deco Chinese handmade wool Oriental Rug measures 7’0” X 9’10”. It has a pink field with one wide grey border. At the right end in the border is a blue urn on a purple table out of which grows a plant with blue, green, and purple flowers all growing in the branches. To the left of it there is a small teapot holding three bunches of grapes in red, yellow and blue. Next to that is a blue tree branch with two beribboned orbs. Up the left border is a blue bird. To the right of it there is a multicolored butterfly checking out the action. Going up you’ll see an urn filled with grapes and flowers. Then at the left hand corner coming from the border is a huge floral motif of dozens of flowers and a long tailed multicolored bird. Out of that tree hanging by a wire is a candelabra with three burning candles. The right corner is decorated with three orbs dangling from branches covered in foliage and flowers.
