This circa 1920 Art Deco Chinese Oriental rug measures 4’0” x 6’8”. It has a pale tan to ivory field with a bird sitting in the single tree going up the center and another bird flying above. There is a butterfly to the right of the tree. The colors are black, blue, grey, peach, white and terra cotta. There is a dark blue border containing a large butterfly, flowers, urns on tables, the hash mark ‘shui’ for good luck, a tea pot, the Buddhist symbol for knowledge (books) and hanging lanterns in four corners. This rug is in essentially perfect condition. It is full pile. The ends and sides are complete. It is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping which includes insurance of $75.00.
