This circa 1950 Sarouk measures 10’4 X 18’0 (316 x 549cm). It has an overall design with no medallion on a deep red ground. The major border is an interlaced motif of blossoms large and small in tobacco, red and ivory on a navy ground encompassed by two sets of minor borders. The smaller is on an ivory ground and the larger reciprocal is on a rose to red ground. This 70 year old rug appears to have never been used. It is full pile. It has complete ends and sides. It is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping with insurance of $225.00.
