This circa 1940 oversized Persian Kerman Carpet measures 11’7” X 20’7”. It has an ivory field containing a pulled medallion in Wedgewood blue sprouting red flowers all around it. It has a large rolling floral border in Wedgewood blue and misty pink which looks something like cartouches each separated by a bouquet of flowers in an urn. This rug is very elegant and attractive. The major border is Wedgewood blue with pink to rose fleur-de-lis easing into the field each separated by a green and pink urn filled with roses and at the bottom a seafoam green fleur- de-lis. An ivory border surrounds all. The rug is very finely woven with 225 knots per square inch. It looks like it has never been walked on. This rug has beautiful soft wool and is full pile and in mint condition. The ends and sides are complete. It is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping with insurance of $250.00.
