Description
This handmade wool Baluch rug woven in the first half of the 20th century measures 2’2” X 3’6”. It is a miniature prayer rug with a purple border that looks like silk but is wool. The center motif is eight pointed stars in oranges. The border consists of lazy ‘S’ in orange, purple and blue on a rust red ground. The finish at both ends is a very long selvedge 8-10” with two pairs of stripes. The rug is full pile. The ends and sides are complete. It is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping which includes insurance of $35.00.
