Description
This circa 1920 Isfahan or Qum Persian Oriental Rug measures 3’6” X 5’4”. It is incredibly finely woven. There is an oval shaped field with an eight pointed star in the center on an ivory ground completely covered in floral motif. The corners are done with a pale sand colored ground. The major border has a floral motif on a medium grey blue ground. The rug has yellow ivory reciprocal borders with meandering leaf and flower design. The rug is full pile. The ends and sides are complete. It is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping which includes insurance of $75.00.
