This circa 1950 handmade Hamadan Persian Oriental Rug measures 5’3” X 9’10”. The center of the rug has a ruby red field displaying eight birds with geometric figures in dark blue. This is surrounded on either end by an unnamable treelike design on a dark blue to indigo ground. The main border in dark blue has a connected floral design in gray and blue- green. The major border is surrounded by a brown minor border with interconnected flower heads. This lively rug is full pile with complete ends and sides. It is clean and ready to go.
