Description
This circa 1925 Art Deco Chinese rug measures 4’0” X 6’10”. It has an overall design with a butterfly in the right corner and a flowering branch in the left corner with a lovely lantern suspended and reaching nearly to the center of the rug. Midway down the rug are floral arrangements coming out of a blue urn which stands on a table. Next to it is a green container of flowering plants. Directly across is a beautifully drawn urn on a table next to a teapot. There is a blue bird in flight and a yellow bird perched in a flowering tree with a lamp. The colors are outrageously beautiful. They are pale green, yellow, tobacco, several shades of blue and purple all on a smoky cranberry ground. The rug is in perfect full pile condition with complete ends and sides. It is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping which includes insurance of $75.00.
