Description
This circa 1920 Art Deco Chinese Oriental Rug measures 9’2” X 11’3”. It has a cocoa brown field color containing 12 sprigs of flowering branches, some with grapes. The center is a large grouping of flowers. The field is surrounded with a 3” wide blue border. The major border contains brush pots, flowering urns, stools and flowers coming in from the field. The two corners have large flowering bouquets. The main colors are three shades of blue, ivory, and pale apricot. All in all this is a very serene rug. The pile of the rug is 99% full pile. There is a photo of the only low spot on the rug. The ends and sides are complete. It is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping which includes insurance of $150.00.
