Description
This circa 1920 Sarouk Persian Oriental Rug measures 4’4” X 6’8”. It is a deep ruby red with an overall floral design which is very crowded and very beautiful. The field motif has a floral medallion with two smaller medallions at both end and two small urns. A navy blue border filled with blossoms of different flower flowers encompasses the field surrounded by a reciprocal border of flowers and vines on a gold background with an outer guard border of trefoil design. The rug is essentially mint condition, full pile with complete ends and sides. The buyer pays the shipping which includes insurance of $75.00.
