Description
This 4th quarter 19th century Khotan measures 4’0” X 7’0” (122 x 213 cm). It has a very pale apricot field with 3 medallions, the center one holding a pomegranate design. There is Chinese fretwork in the corners of the field in aubergine. There is much aubergine in this rug. There is very nicely drawn and spaced Khotan border. The pile is evenly low. The ends and sides are complete. It is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping with insurance of $75.00.
