This circa 1880 Kazak measures 5’9” X 8’5”. It is a fantastic Kazak with a motif of three 8 sided medallions. The medallion in the center is ivory and is flanked by tomato red medallions. Each one has minor differences which you have to look for and believe me it’s worth the effort! All three are on a medium blue ground with a very lovely abrash. The field motif defies description so I won’t even try but let the buyer make up his own story. The major border consists of various colors of eight sided geometric figures in shades of blue, brown, tobacco and green. The major border has octagonal designs that have several models of the same motif. The major border is cuddled up against reciprocal borders. One is in brown with a tobacco colored motif and one is in red with an ivory motif. This rug is absolutely spectacular! The rug is full pile. The ends and sides are complete. It is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping which includes insurance of $95.00.
