Description
This circa 1910-1920 Karaja Oriental Rug measures 4’7” X 6’2”. It has a dark rust background with three medallions. There is an ivory medallion in the center flanked by two medium blue medallions. The red field has a geometric motif. The major border is a combination floral and geometric motif in several shades of red and several shades of blue with a tiny bit of pink on a dark blue ground. There are two reciprocal borders; one with a tobacco ground and the other with a blue ground. The rug is slightly low all over. It is sold ‘as is’. It is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping which includes insurance of $75.
