This mid-19th century possibly earlier Flemish tapestry measures 6’6” X 8’5”. It has a forest scene with a young lady, two men and their dogs sitting and chatting in a forest glade by a lake or river bed. The tapestry is completely covered in trees, flowers, and water lilies. The border is intertwined flowers that look like tulips, chrysanthemums and roses. The condition is essentially perfect. There are rings sewn on the back for hanging. It is clean and ready to go.
