This 1st quarter 20th century Baluch hand woven Oriental rug measures 3’5” X 6’2”. It has an overall motif of potted flowers in two shades of blue and black surrounded by a major border in medium brown with a wavy blue line and ivory flowers. This is surrounded with two pair of reciprocal borders. One with an ‘S’ motif in blue and brown on a terra cotta ground and one with arrows in terra cotta and blue on a brown ground. There are several areas the size of a small fist with some old moth damage. The rest of the rug is full pile. The ends and sides are complete. It is clean and ready to go.
