This circa 1920 Art Deco Chinese Oriental rug measures 9’2” X 11’5”. It has a dark blue field with a fantastic design. There is a four legged table containing a turquoise colored urn with blossoming flowers in gold, blue, purple, apricot and black. As you move to the right in the lower border there is a cute basket of flowers sitting next to a beribboned racket with a hash mark for good luck. The right bottom corner has a rockery in several shades of green, turquoise, blue, brown, red, and purple with flowers blooming up and into the field of the rug. In the center of the field on the left side there is a turquoise butterfly and two hanging tasseled lamps. On the right side is a beautiful reddish sun peaking from the clouds with a couple of birds flying over it and a couple of butterflies flitting above them, all aiming for the grouping of flowers in the upper center of the field. Across the horizontal border of the rug is a bouquet of flowers on a small table and a three cornered table holding an urn containing a beautiful bouquet of multi colored flowers. The upper left corner has a rockery with another bouquet of flowers. The border is a really deep raspberry red which along with the flowers in bubblegum colors seem to pop off the rug. The rug is in absolutely mint full pile condition. It has complete ends and sides. It is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping which includes insurance of $150.00 .
