This circa 1920 Mahajaran Sarouk measures 9’1” X 11’7” (277 x 356 cm). It has a maroon overall design with a central medallion with a floral motif of sprays of flowers, flowering tree branches and sprigs of flowers. Flowers! Flowers! Flowers in several shades of brown, several shades of blue and a dark ivory or pale camel encompassed by a major border of repeated flower blossoms and what appear to be scallop shells on a navy blue ground. There are two pair of reciprocal borders in a meandering flower design. One is on a maroon ground and one is on a blue ground. The rug is full pile. It has complete ends and sides. It is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping with insurance of $150.
