Description
This circa 1850 Ningxia antique Chinese rug measures 2’5” x 5’4” (76 x 164 cm). It has a coral ground containing two ivory medallions which contain two wrestling foo dogs each in yellow and two shades of blue. They look very happy. It has a yellow border. An interesting feature about this rug is that the borders are very asymmetric in design. The rug shows wear consistent with its age. The ends and sides are complete. It is clean and ready to go.
