Description
This circa 1850 Ningxia antique Chinese rug measures 2’5” x 5’4” (76 x 164 cm). It has a coral ground containing two ivory medallions which contain two wrestling foo dogs each in yellow and two shades of blue. They look very happy. It has a yellow border. An interesting feature about this rug is that the borders are very asymmetric in design. We do have a 2’5” x 5’4” matching rug and a 2’6” x 9’3” runner in our stock (#7508 and #7506). The rug shows wear consistent with its age. The ends and sides are complete. It is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping with insurance of $50.
