This circa 1910 Hadji Lili Tabriz measures 6’3” X 9’8” (192 x 298 cm). It has a deep apricot field completely covered in meandering flowers and vines. There are eight strategically placed boteh designs and an open fleur-de-lis motif in very pale green filled with a bouquet of flowers tied with a ribbon in each corner. The center medallion contains an image of a garden in front of an open shrine that the viewer can stand and look into. Above the door is the signature of the artist. The border is composed of cartouches in a very, very pale green filled with a floral motif. The cartouches are separated by a busy floral motif all on a blue ground. This rug is too fine to count the knots however it is guaranteed to be at least 450 KPSI. This full pile rug is essentially in perfect condition. The ends and sides are intact.
