Description
This circa 1910 Laver Kerman antique Oriental Persian carpet measures 4’0” X 7’0” (121 x 213 cm). It has an overall floral design which is very complicated on an ivory ground with a blue rondele medallion and nicely worked corners. The border is a medium blue with peonies and chrysanthemums worked with a scrolling arabesque motif. This is a very beautiful and sophisticated example of the weaving art. The rug is full pile. The ends and sides are complete. It is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping with insurance of $75.00.
