Description
This circa 1910 PaoTao Chinese rug measures 3’3” x 5’4” (3’3’ x 5’4cm). This rug is like a Chinese scroll painting. There are a pair of deer in the foreground looking up at a pair of red headed cranes. One is standing on top of a rockery and the other is flying around taking a look. The background of the rug is covered in a tall tree coming out of rocks and a flowering tree coming out of the foreground between the two deer. All is encompassed with a border of Chinese fretwork and flower blossoms. The rug is full pile. It has complete ends and sides. It is clean and ready to go.
