This circa 1920 Art Deco Chinese rug measures 8’9” X 11’3”. It has a raspberry running to orange field color. The bottom of the rug contains a rockery in grayish lavender with green reeds or grass. A large flowering tree comes out of the rockery to the center of the rug. The left side has a large mass of purple and blue flowers and a three stem stand of bamboo. The right side lower corner has a rockery with leafs in purple, yellow, green and blue. Butterflies flit around the center of the field. Hanging from the top of the rug is an attractively drawn lantern in purple. Masses of giant flowers and leaves in green and purple are in the upper right corner. The rug is enclosed with a jade green border with flowers in yellow, purple, and green. This rug is essentially in mint condition. It is full pile. It is clean and ready to go.
