Description
This circa 1920 Art Deco Chinese rug measures 8’9” X 11’4”. It has a deep dark cherry red field with hanging grapes in pink, blue and white. There is a small pagoda with a bridge in the dark green border with masses of floral motifs coming out of the border into the field. There is a small incense burner in blue and pink in one corner. The rug is full pile. The ends and sides are complete. It is essentially mint condition. The buyer pays the shipping and insurance of 150.00.
