Peking Chinese Rugs

In our Sarasota gallery we currently have over 80 antique Peking rugs. These rare Antique Peking Rugs are handwoven of wool from 1850 to modern day in and around Peking (Beijing) China and have a fine weave with Asian motifs incorporating Chinese designs, Buddhist symbols and elements such as flowers and butterflies from nature. They often are quite intricate with dragons, phoenix birds and well drawn scenes.
