This circa 1880 Lori Pambak Kazak measures 6’5” X 7’2” (198 x 219 cm). It is a full pile beauty with the typical Lori Pambak medallion layout. It has one large ivory medallion at each end containing a blue to aquamarine Memling gul on a tomato red ground showing great asymmetry. The field contains eight medium sized ornamentations. Three in the aquamarine to blue squares containing two ivory very abstract flower motifs, one six sided and the other more square. Check out the animals. The ivory major border contains large multicolored Lazy S’s in red, blue, yellow, green and one with a touch of aubergine. This major border is surrounded by two reciprocal borders containing ivory, tomato red and saffron triangles facing each other so the tips are touching forming squares between them. This rug is essentially perfect and the pile is very full and elegant. I cannot see one low spot on the rug. I am not saying there aren’t any, only that I cannot see it. The ends and sides are complete and original. The rug is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping which includes insurance of $95.00.
