circa 1930 Persian Sarouk handmade Oriental Rug measures 9’11” X 13’3” (308
x 405 cm). It has an overall design with a small medallion and a very
crowded motif consisting of flowers, flowers and a few more flowers! The
colors are rose, red, Wedgewood blue, navy blue and tobacco on a ground
which is white as snow. The major border has meandering vines and flowers
which are in the same colors as the field motif on a red ground. The rug has
six minor borders which are all different renderings of a floral motif on
either a rust, ivory or blue ground. This rug is full pile. The ends and
sides are complete. It is in mint condition. It is clean and ready to go.
